Such a Beautiful Day in the Lord

I woke up this morning feeling like there was something I needed to do. Little did I know
that I would be setting up a Blog site for myself and others. I am not a writer, but God has
led me to share. So here I am on my deck setting up a Blog and wondering what am I
supposed to be writing about. Well, I 'm thinking it is such a beautiful day here in NC.
The sun is shining bright and the wind is blowing some. It feels wonderful to be able
to sit outside and bask in the wonders of what our God has created. "This is the day that
the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24. In Genesis 1:31
it says, then God saw everything He had made, and indeed it was very good. He has created
all that we see and hear. The sun and clouds by day, the birds we hear chirping, the squirrels
running to and fro. And by night the moon and stars that light up the sky. Indeed it is very
good. Just think how gloomy it would be without them. Well it is the same without God in our
lives. He is the one that lights our path. He makes the crooked ways straight. He also turns
the bad into good in our lives. Without him where would I be? So I leave you with one
question, Is your day gloomy? If so, have you made God a part of your life? or did you
misplace Him somewhere? He has not left you, but maybe you have distance yourself from
him. If so, take the time right now to speak (pray) to him right now, let Him know you
are sorry and want him to be a part of your every day. So you can appreciate all He has
created, and you can say "Indeed it is a beautiful day in the Lord."
